10MM vs .357 Magnum

The age-old 10mm vs .357 Magnum question is about to be answered once and for all. In the YouTube video below, Elijah pits the two middleweight cartridges against one another and gives us some empirical data.

If you are looking for a woods gun, haven’t you wondered if the 10mm can really stack up to .357 Magnum?

I Know It Is A Long Video …

This video happens to be the longest video I have ever produced, apologize up front for that. There is worthwhile reloading footage with the Lee Classic Turret Press in loading both calibers in the very beginning of this video. If you are void of patience you can skip to halfway through this video and get to the footage you most likely came here wanting to see.

  • You failed to point out the consequences of the transfer of energy from the bullets into the gel. This transfer of energy and the wound path opened up by the bullets means that the 10mm is probably more lethal than the 357 mag in real-life situations.

  • People buy the revolver in 357 Mag. After shooting the revolver/ 357 they are unpleasantly suprised to the sho0ck and pain this experience . The 10mm, on the otherhand, is more pleasant to shoot. I learned that after spending a lot of time and money. Bottom line? Buy what you want.
