Night Fission wasn’t on my list initially for SHOT Show 2026. While I’ve heard good things about their products, I haven’t found myself in need of new iron sights in quite some time. That however is likely to change thanks to their recent support of the Smith & Wesson Bodyguard 2.0.
If you’ve read Paul’s articles or my Patreon posts on the Smith & Wesson Bodyguard 2.0, you know that the OEM iron sights are seriously lacking. While there are some replacement sights from other brands, they’re far from ideal as well. As I passed by the Night Fission booth, I quickly scanned their display guns, and was pleasantly surprised to see a Bodyguard 2.0 on a stand. Even more pleasing was seeing an excellent set of sights atop the pistol.
In short, Night Fission’s sights are what should have been put on this gun in the first place. With options for tritium in the front and rear sights, along with varying configurations of square and U-notches, there’s something here to please everyone. Regardless of configuration, the sight picture is stellar. No more looking down a gutter at the target, instead we have a useable set of sights. While this isn’t a review, I’ll certainly be picking up a set for my personal Bodyguard.
MSRP on Night Fission sights for the S&W Bodyguard 2.0 is $48-129 as of this writing depending on configuration.
