Stop the ATF from Regulating Stabilizing Braces [2021R-08]

It is once again time to defend our gun rights from the ever-encroaching arm of the law. In short, the ATF wants to reclassify stabilizing braces under the NFA. Making this change will require brace owners to register them with the federal government, pay a $200 tax, and incur other challenges, just as they would with machine guns, suppressors, and other NFA items.

There are several things you can do to ensure your comment is counted. Make sure you’re writing an original comment, avoiding foul language, staying on topic, and providing legitimate contact information. Comments have stopped actions in the past and it can be done again if everyone makes an effort. Readers have until 08 September of this year to submit a comment for consideration. Go make sure your voice is heard. I know I have.

You can find the full text of the ATF’s proposed changes, along with space to comment here: 2021R-08, “Factoring Criteria for Firearms with Attached ‘Stabilizing Braces
