After a brief tease yesterday, Langdon Tactical announced their new optic mount for the Beretta 92 series of pistols. This is an effective first, helping to bring the classic pistol into the 21st century; Martin Riggs and John McClane would be proud!
Historically, the design of the Beretta 92 has prevented the use of an effective optics mount due to the construction of the slide. Ernest Langdon and his team have found a way to fix this issue. This includes redesigning the firing pin block, milling for a custom optic plate, and more. Shooters can purchase a complete pistol, or send their existing guns in for milling direct from Langdon Tactical.
Hopefully Ernest gives a similar treatment to other Beretta offerings such as the Px4 and APX soon. Or maybe we’ll get lucky and Beretta will makes these custom changes into the factory stock. A man can dream…
