Lipsey’s has been one of the more popular booths at SHOT Show over the past few years. They’ve consistently brought out guns that stand out from the crowd and get people talking. This year is no different. With two very different product lines Lipsey’s is once again pleasing many in the revolver crowd, while also giving auto enthusiasts some love.
Lipsey’s and Smith & Wesson Night Guard Revolvers
For 2026, Lipsey’s is again collaborating with Smith & Wesson to bring back a model that’s unique without being alien. The Night Guard series originally debuted in 2008, giving us compact, lightweight revolvers designed for personal protection. Fast forward to today, and we have the 386 and 396 being reintroduced. As 7-shot, 357 Magnum, I think the 386 will be the belle of the ball between the two, offering a little more capacity in a more common caliber. The 396 gives shooters a 5-shot, 44 Special, for the big bore enthusiasts wanting something to carry without concerns of capacity.
Both of these guns are scandium L-Frames, coming in at 24 ounces for the 386, and 23 ounces for the 396. Sights are a tritium XS front post, and a fully adjustable rear sight. Grips are rubber Bantam’s from Hogue to help with recoil on the light frame. Like other recent Lipsey’s exclusives, the often scorned internal lock is also nowhere to be found.

Springfield Armory 10-8 Performance Master Class 1911
Next on the list is a new 1911 in collaboration with Lipsey’s and Springfield Armory. This gun is built to the specifications of legendary gunsmith Hilton Yam of 10-8 Performance. Features include a heavy cone barrel, aggressive checkering on front and back straps, 10-8 grips, an integral mag well, and a square trigger guard. To top things off, the slide features an AOS mounting system to accept a variety of optics.
The 10-8 Performance Master Class is offered in both 9mm and 45ACP. MSRP sits at $2,099.
