Rev Industries isn’t brand-new to the firearms world, but they’ve certainly gained a lot of popularity over the past year. As I was walking the halls of the basement at SHOT, I happened to pass their booth and immediately turned around to check them out. I’ve seen quite a few social media posts about Rev Industries’ loaders, but I wanted to get hands-on to see them for myself.
The folks at Rev were extremely welcoming and informative, one of the best interactions of the week. That’s always a good start, as not all representatives are quite so friendly. Much to my surprise, Rev had a variety of models on display; I was only aware of one offering from them.
Rev Industries Speed Loaders at SHOT Show 2026
For those unfamiliar, Rev Industries makes an unusual sort of speed loader as their bread an butter. Unlike most competitors, Rev’s flagship loader holds multiple reloads in a single device. This is done by stacking the rounds atop each other, three cartridges deep. To release, align the rounds with your revolver’s charge holes and press the loader into the cylinder. A small button is pressed by the center pin on the extractor star, releasing rounds into the gun. Once pressure is removed, the subsequent rounds are secured in place, falling into the next position from gravity.

To load rounds, simply place them primer-down into their charge holes on the loader, press the center pin, and watch them fall into the body of the loader.
Guns Supported
Rev offers their loader for 5-shot 38/357, 6-shot 38/357, 6-shot 44 Special/Magnum, and 6-shot 45 Colt guns. Per their advertising, these loaders are generally make/model agnostic when it comes to the gun. That means that whether you’re using a Smith & Wesson K or L frame, Ruger GP100 or Security series, or Colt Viper or Python, you should be good with one loader, so long as your caliber and capacity are the same.
Rev also displayed a new, single-load speed loader during SHOT Show 2026. This works via the same principles as the triple loader, but in a more compact, competition legal, package. I got to try this for a 44 Magnum Taurus and it worked quite well. I could see the triple loader being great for administrative loading off the clock, and the single as a competition or carry option.
Closing out Rev Industries Speed Loader at SHOT Show 2026
I was glad to stumble upon Rev Industries during my limited time at SHOT this year. Their loaders were something I was curious about, but had never seen in person. With hands-on experience, I’ll be picking up a few to review later this year. Keep an eye out for that in the coming months.
